Data Request

Use this page to exercise an applicable privacy right relating to Speaking+. Requests are handled by Speaking+.

Choose your request

Select a request type to open an email addressed to our privacy team. If your email app does not open, send the same information directly to email@speaking.plus.

Access my information Ask whether we process your personal information and request a copy. Delete my information Request deletion of your account or other personal information, subject to exceptions. Correct my information Ask us to correct inaccurate personal information associated with you. Obtain a portable copy Request eligible personal information in a portable format. Submit another privacy request or appeal Object to or restrict eligible processing, withdraw consent, appeal a prior response, or ask another privacy question.

What to include

To help us locate the correct records and understand your request, include:

  • your full name;
  • the email address associated with your Speaking+ account, if any;
  • the privacy right or action you want to exercise;
  • the country and state, province, or region where you live; and
  • enough detail for us to identify the relevant account, workspace, or interaction.
Do not email sensitive identification documents unless we ask for them.

We will request only the additional information reasonably needed to verify your identity or authority. We will never ask for your account password, complete payment-card number, or API secret to verify a privacy request.

What happens next

We will acknowledge and respond within the time required by applicable law. We may ask you to verify control of the relevant email address or provide other reasonable verification. Some requests may be limited by legal exceptions, including security, fraud prevention, billing, recordkeeping, legal claims, and the rights of other people.

Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We may ask for proof of signed authority and may also verify the request directly with the person concerned.
